What "Suwen" means 「素問」二字的意思
The two characters 素問 (Suwen) mean "an inquiry into the source of life and the order of nature." 素 points to the essence, the root of things; 問 is questioning without presuming the answer. Together, they describe a posture: approaching the patterns of life and the cosmos with humility and a genuine wish to understand. 「素問」二字，意思是「對生命本源與天地規律的質詢與探討」。「素」指事物的本然、根本；「問」是不預設答案的探究與叩問。合起來，就是抱著謙遜而求真的態度，向天地與生命的規律發問。
Where the name comes from 名字的由來：《黃帝內經・素問》
The name comes from a classic of Chinese medicine, the Huangdi Neijing · Suwen (The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon · Plain Questions). It is written as a dialogue: the Yellow Emperor asks, and the physician Qibo answers, exploring back and forth the workings of life, nature, and the human body. We borrow the name because its spirit matches ours: divination is not a tool for predicting fortune or frightening people, but a way of questioning that helps you understand yourself and the patterns you live within. 這個名字源自中醫經典《黃帝內經・素問》。那是一部以「問答」體裁寫成的典籍，由黃帝提問、岐伯回答，一來一往地探討生命、自然與人體運行的道理。我們借用這個名字，正因為它的精神與我們相同：命理不是用來預言吉凶、嚇唬人的工具，而是一套理解自己、理解規律的提問方式。
